Take a chance on a Sunday afternoon and venture out to the Urbandale Library
for the following serendipitous programs:

Sunday, July 20th from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. in Meeting Room A.
Join Dog Behavioral
Therapist and Trainer, Debra Boswell as she presents an informational
program to help you better understand your furry, four-legged family
members.
This free program will cover how to better communicate with your dog,
recognizing the signs of fear and aggression, and the basics on dog behavior
correction. In order to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all attendees, NO
PETS ARE ALLOWED.

Get ready for the
Iowa State Fair with local author, Mary Kay Shanley! She will share
stories from her book, Our State Fair – Iowa’s Blue Ribbon Story
which chronicles 150 years of Iowa State Fair traditions, adventures, and
personal experiences.
This is sure to be a fun program filled with stories that will have you
reminiscing about your own Iowa State Fair experiences and ready to create
new memories this year!
On the Same Page
On the Same Page, the evening book discussion
group, meets on the third Wednesday of the month at 7:30 p.m. in the library
Conference Room. The next meeting will be on Wednesday, May 21 at 7:30
p.m. The group will discuss the selection "The
Road” by Cormac McCarthy. Pick up a copy at the library

Thursday, May 29 at 12 noon. The Brown Bag Book Club meets at lunch time on the last Thursday of the month from noon to 1:00 p.m. in Meeting Room A of the library.
