WILBOR now offers iPod compatible downloads!
We're excited to announce that iPod users can now transfer many of WILBOR's titles in wma format to their iPods, if they are using a PC for download and transfer. The icons for these titles now include the icon for "iPod," as well as "PC" and "WMA."
Users will need to download the new Overdrive Media Console (v. 3.2) in order to take advantage of the feature. Their iTunes software must be set to manually sync (the Media Console will alert them to that before it downloads), and the transfer process will take longer than patrons have been accustomed to because the console is doing some conversion "on the fly."
This is only available for PCs but Mac users will continue to be able to download mp3 titles, and the consortium will continue to purchase mp3 titles for WILBOR.
To get started, just follow these easy steps:
Step 1: Install Free Software
1. Click on the WILBOR logo at the top of this page. Scroll down the left side of the page until you find Digital Software, and click to install OverDrive Media Console and Windows Media Player or OverDrive Media Console for Mac.

To download our MP3 content, please make sure you have OverDrive Media Console v3.0 (or newer) for Windows or OverDrive Media Console v1.0 (or newer) for Mac installed on your computer.
2. The first time you open OverDrive Media Console or download an audio book, you will be prompted to complete a one-time security upgrade for Windows Media Player. This enables playback of copy-protected Windows Media files.

Step 3: Download to your Desktop or Laptop PC
1. Click on the 'Download' button under each title to launch OverDrive Media Console.
2. Select parts to download, then click 'OK'. The download will begin. Once downloaded to a PC, audio books can be enjoyed on your computer or transferred to a Pocket PC, PDA, Smartphone, or supported MP3 player. Many titles can be burned to CD.
