Avoid long lines at the Circulation Desk by using the library’s do-it-yourself materials check out station.  Located across from the Circulation Desk, self-serve check out is easy, confidential and fast.  If you have questions or need help using the station, the library staff is happy to help you.

To use the machine, follow the visual cues and read the text on the screen.  Scan your Urbandale or Johnston library card.  When the screen indicates that the card is okay, scan the item(s).  When all items are checked out, remove the library card and take the date due receipt.  Items are now ready to take home and enjoy!
