The Urbandale Public Library is committed to providing diverse resources for life-long learning and enjoyment.
Urbandale Public Library
is owned by the city of Urbandale and governed by a seven member Board of Trustees. We serve not only the residents of Urbandale, but the surrounding Des Moines metro area as well as contracting cities within the state of Iowa. The current 56,000 square foot building was completed in 2000 and houses a variety of print and non print materials. In the library, you will find computers, photocopiers, meeting rooms, study areas, children's programs and more!
