Youth Group Library Tours
-Does your homeschool student/group need help learning about the library?
-Does your boy scout troop have a badge to earn?
-Would your day care or pre-school like to hear some stories?
-Do your students need extra resources for their reports?
Youth Services Staff would be glad to arrange a tour or visit to fit your needs. Please contact us at 331-4490 or email us and we will be glad to assist you. We can also visit your site if that is more convenient.
Adult Group Library Tours
-New to the area?
-Would your adult community group like a tour?
-Would you like to have a librarian present at a local function?
Reference desk staff members are available to conduct tours for groups. Tours usually are 30 minutes in length and encompass the public areas and occasionally the staff areas of the library. Library spaces as well as collections are highlighted in the tour.
Staff members are available to visit your meeting and offer a presentation. Programs include information about the collections, programs and services offered through the Urbandale Public Library. Programs are usually 30-60 minutes in length.
