Help Decorate the Mitten Tree
Warm the hands and hearts of those less fortunate this winter by placing new mittens and gloves on the Mitten Tree!
Beginning December 1 through December 31, you are invited to help the members of the Des Moines Knitting Guild and the Urbandale High School Student Senate decorate by placing purchased or hand-knit mittens and gloves on the tree. All sizes and types of mittens and gloves are needed. The Urbandale Food Pantry will distribute the donated items to the Urbandale schools and elsewhere for those in need.
New mittens and gloves accepted December 1 – 31
A special thanks to the Des Moines Knitting Guild & the Urbandale High School Student Senate for their generous donations!
