The Birds

Carrie

Carrie White is a shy young girl who doesn’t make friends easily. After her class mates taunt her about her horrified reaction to her totally unexpected first period one of them takes pity on her and gets Tommy Ross to invite Carrie to the senior prom. Meanwhile another girl who has been banned from the prom for her continued aggressive behaviour is not as forgiving and plans a trick to embarrass Carrie in front of the whole school. What she doesn’t realise is that Carrie is– gifted, and you really don’t want to get her angry. Rating: R.

 

The Crazies

Welcome to Ogden Marsh, Iowa, the friendliest place on earth. A picture perfect town where your neighbours are your friends and your friends are your neighbours… Until they want to kill you. A mysterious toxin in the water supply turns everyone exposed to it into mindless killers, and the authorities leave the uninfected to their certain doom. Sheriff David Dutten and his pregnant wife, Judy, find themselves trapped in a once-idyllic town they can no longer recognise. On the run from infected neighbours, loved ones and friends, targeted by the ruthless military and terrified of getting sick, they are forced to band together with other survivors in a desperate struggle for survival.┬áRated R.

The corpses of the recently-dead are returning to life & attacking the living, devouring their victims. Two members of the Philadelphia S.W.A.T. team & their friends land in a shopping mall occupied by the living dead. They secure the mall through brutal battles with the creatures, but can they escape both the bandits & the zombies? Rated R.

A corrupt sheriff arrests travelers that come across his path. They soon realize that all is not of this world when they see dead townspeople everywhere, and the sheriff changing into something inhuman. Rated R

Fright Night

Senior Charley Brewster finally has it all. He’s running with the cool kids and dating the hottest girl in high school. But all hell breaks loose when charming Jerry Dandrige moves in next door. Charlie thinks there’s something odd about him, although no one, including his mom seems to notice. But after too many of his classmates vanish under bizarre circumstances, Charley comes to an unmistakable conclusion: Jerry is a vampire! Rated R

 

 

Halloween

In 1963, six-year-old Michael Myers brutally killed his older sister. The silent child was incarcerated in the Smith’s Grove Sanitarium under the care of psychiatrist Sam Loomis. Michael’s hometown of Haddonfield was slowly begining to forget the tragic crime. That is until Loomis returns to the town to warn them of Myers’ escape from Smith’s Grove. With Michael set on killing a group of high school students, Loomis gets the hesitant town sheriff to help him stop Michael before it’s too late. Rated R.

 

A Nightmare on Elm Street

Five teenage friends living on one street all dream of a sinister man with a disfigured face, a frightening voice and a gardener’s glove with knives for fingers. One by one, he terrorizes them within their dreams–where the rules are his and the only way out is to wake up. The Orphanage

Laura decides to purchase her beloved childhood orphanage with dreams of restoring and reopening the long abandoned facility as a place for disabled children. The new environment awakens the imagination of Laura’s son. His ongoing fantasy games played with an invisible friend quickly turn into something more disturbing. Upon seeing her family increasingly threatened by the strange occurrences in the house, Laura looks to a group of parapsychologists for help in unraveling the mystery that has taken over the place. The Wolfman

Lawrence Talbot is lured back to his family estate to investigate the savage murder of his brother by a bloodthirsty beast. There, Talbot must confront his childhood demons, his estranged father, his brother’s grieving fiancee, and a suspicious Scotland Yard inspector.
