Iowa Communications Network
The Iowa Communications Network (ICN) is a statewide, state-administered fiber optics network responsible for the transmission of high quality full-motion, two-way, interactive video; data transport; and long distance voice communications. The ICN is used as a tool through which Iowans can more easily access educational, medical and governmental services throughout the state. Along with schools, community colleges, universities, and National Guard sites, there are 50 public libraries with ICN meeting rooms.
The Urbandale Public Library ICN classroom will hold 20 participants and is available to any authorized users. Use of the room will be scheduled on a first come, first served basis through the ICN scheduling process. For questions concerning the Urbandale Public Library ICN classroom, call 278-3945 option 4.
