Storytime

The age recommendations provided for the storytime programs described below indicate the developmental level the program targets.  However, every child is different. If you’re not sure if a storytime is the right fit for your child, we encourage you to try it out.

Storytime is a fantastic opportunity to bond and share the learning experience, so caregivers should plan on attending and participating! No registration required.  Siblings welcome!

After-School Programs for School-Age Children

Please check our events calendar for the most current information about programs for school-age children.  Our fall program offering includes Crazy 8s Math, After School Art, CultureAll Experiences, and more!

Crazy 8s Math Club:   Crazy 8s is an after-school math club for 1st and 2nd graders designed to get them fired up about math. Every week Crazy 8ers build stuff, run and jump, make music, make a mess…all the while bonding with new friends over math. Lessons build on each other, so please plan on attending the majority of events. We’ll cover topics ranging from geometry and measuring to telling time and addition. Registration is required.

  • Tuesdays in September/October at 4:30 PM

After School Art:   Get hands-on with art exploration. This 30-minute workshop will unleash your creativity and inspire the artist in everyone with process-driven art projects! We’ll be moving, playing, and working as a group to create together.  At this art program we play and make memories, but projects are not always able to be transported home. Come ready to get messy!

  • 2nd Monday of the month at 4:30 PM

CultureAll Experiences: Explore another culture and learn something new at this after-school event! Each month, we’ll meet an ambassador from a different country.

  • 3rd Friday of the month at 4:30 PM
