The Library offers several programs especially for teen audiences!  Teen events are intended for students in grades 7 – 12.  Members of our Teen Advisory Group provide feedback and make recommendations on our programming to ensure our offering meets the unique needs and interests of their peers.

Teen WriteUPThird Monday of the month, 6:00 PM

The perfect group for the aspiring writer. Bring material to share, brainstorm ideas, or just practice your craft! All 7th-12th graders are welcome, registration is encouraged!

 

Teen Book Club – Second Monday of the month at 6:30 PM

Swing by the Services Desk to pick up a copy of this month’s book, then join us for discussion and snacks. Registration is preferred.

Volunteer Opportunities

Teen Advisory Group (TAG) –  Second Monday of the month at 7:30 PM

It’s your library, tell us what you want ! TAG makes decisions that affect teens in the library. All 7th through 12th graders are welcome, no need to register! .

Teen Text Line

Teens are encouraged to text “BOOKS” to 760-670-3130 to receive reminders about upcoming programs and special volunteer opportunities for grades 7-12.
