Online Databases

The Urbandale Public Library subscribes to numerous databases to assist all age groups with learning, research, and information. Here are just a few databases that could help your child or student excel during their learning years. Novelist K-8
Find fiction titles for students in grades K-8. Teachers and parents can use thousands of subject headings to find titles on any instructional topic for every grade level. Students can use favorite authors or titles to find more books that they will enjoy reading. Readers can find the next book in their favorite series. Includes full-text reviews from trusted sources such as School Library Journal and Booklist. This database is accessible from within the library from all public access computers, as well as outside the library with a user ID and password, available by contacting the library at (515) 331-4488. LearningExpress Library
An interactive online learning platform featuring over 770 practice tests, tutorials, and eBooks related to basic skills improvement in reading, writing, and math, for all ages.
