JUNE TWEEN & TEEN PROGRAMS

Geocaching

Thursday, June 11th at 10:00 am in Meeting Room A
Kids age 12-18 can go on a high-tech scavenger hunt with a Polk County Conservation naturalist. Learn the basics of using a GPS and try finding several geocaches hidden on the grounds of the library. Please call 278-3945 by Tuesday, June 9 to register.

Letterpress Workshop

Tuesday, June 16th at 7:00 pm in Meeting Room
Kids age 12-18 are invited to explore traditional printing using a real printing press. Designers from the Red Door Press will help teens create their own superhero-themed paper crafts using letterpress techniques. Please call 278-3945 by Monday, June 15 to register.

Teen Knitting

Tuesday, June 23rd at 5:30 pm in the ICN Classroom
Teen knitters age 13-18 of all skill levels (even beginners!) are welcome to join the fun. Knitting needles and yarn will be provided. Please call 278-3945 to register.

Anime Club

Tuesday, June 30th at 6:00 pm in the Conference Room
Kids age 12-14, you are invited to come watch a variety of anime, talk about manga, create art projects and enjoy some Japanese snacks. No registration.
