OCTOBER TEEN PROGRAMS
Teen Book Club
Wednesday, October 1st at 6:30 pm
Teen Book Club meets at two times in two different venues, every six weeks. High School students age 13 and older will meet at 2:30 pm on Wednesday, October 1st to discuss Paper Towns by John Green in the Urbandale High School Media Center. Teen Advisory Board (TAB)
Wednesday, October 8th at 5:30 pm
Calling all teens ages 13-17. If you want to meet new people and make a difference, come join TAB. Teens have the opportunity to give input on the library’s books, video games, music, programs, resources, and teen space. Author Talk/Writing Workshop
Wednesday, October 15th from 6:30 to 8:00 pm
In honor of Teen Read Week, local author Blythe Stanfel will talk about her experience as an author. Blythe will speak about the process of getting her book Out of the Pocket published.
