MARCH TEEN PROGRAMS

Hour of Code

Tuesday, March 10th from 6:30 to 7:30 pm
In honor of Teen Tech Week (March 8-14), the Urbandale Public Library along with Drake University and the South Central STEM Hub at Drake University are presenting an “Hour of Code.” This fun, interactive session on coding is designed for teens age 13-18.
The “Hour of Code” program is the first step for teens on a journey to learn more about how technology works and how to create software applications.
Register by Monday, March 9th by calling 331-4490 or email trohe@urbandale.org. Space is limited.

Teen Knitting Classes

Tuesday, March 17th from 5:30 to 7:00 pm
Teens age 13-18 are invited to come try knitting. This is the second class in a two-part series, but teens are still welcome to sign up and join the fun! Class size will be kept small so teens have a chance to work one-on-one with instructors. Knitting needles and yarn are provided. To register for the class please email trohe@urbandale.org or call 331-4490.
