Urbandale Public Library/Black History Month 2021 Reading Challenge

This February we’re inviting all ages to join the Black History Month Reading Challenge!

February 1 through February 28 *Now extended to March 15!

The Black History Month Reading Challenge is an online reading challenge in which participants (families, teens, adults) are challenged to log their reading (minutes read per day). The challenge also encourages participants to learn about Black history makers; explore art, food, music and other cultural traditions; and honor the evolution of Black history in America through a variety of online-based activities you can complete alone or as a family. Log at least 60 minutes of reading throughout the month and complete 4 out of the 9 activities in order to complete the challenge!

To begin, create or log in to your Beanstack account any time during the month of February and select the Black History Month 2021 Reading Challenge under the Discover tab. Click here for a Beanstack Tutorial.
