Articles from Newspapers and Magazines

Consumer Reports (inside of Library usage) – information, ratings, reviews, and product comparisons for thousands of products and services.

Credo Reference – Credo is an easy-to-use tool for research, homework, and other reference needs. Gather background information on your topic from over one thousand full-text encyclopedias and subject handbooks, as well as 500,000+ images and audio files and over 1,000 videos.  (

FirstSearch – FirstSearch includes eight databases: WorldCat (a catalog of over 53 million records of books and other materials in OCLC libraries worldwide), ArticleFirst, ERIC, GPO, MEDLINE, PapersFirst, ProceedingsFirst and UnionList. Biography in Context has detailed information on over 24 million U.S. companies, organizations and agencies and white page listings for over 89 million U.S. households. Search by company name, sales volume, SIC codes, number of employees, product lines, and more.

HeritageQuest (inside of library usage) – Includes images and indexing of the 1790-1930 U. S. federal censuses, 8,000 family histories, the Periodical Source Index (PERSI) which covers 6,300 genealogy and history periodicals, and a number of other databases. (
