New Digital Access Card
We’re expanding access to our resources to best meet the needs of community members looking for ways to stay informed and entertained while staying close to home. Now is a great time to catch up on your reading, and we hope this change will make doing so a little easier!
Digital Access Library Cards
We’re pleased to offer a digital-only access library card for people who currently do not have an Urbandale Public Library Card and are interested in checking out eBooks, e-audiobooks, and other online resources. (If you already have an Urbandale Public Library card, you don’t need to sign up for a digital card.)
Digital access cards are currently valid through May 2021 (date subject to change, we will notify you if there is a earlier cutoff), and are only for downloadable digital items (eBooks, etc) and access to our online databases. Please note, items from Overdrive and hoopla are only available to Urbandale and rural Polk County residents. However, all cardholders can access our extensive collection of items available on our long list of informative databases!
