Summer Rocks in Urbandale!
Summer Rocks in Urbandale! is a celebratory event designed to kick off the Urbandale Public Library’s summer reading program for kids and adults – as well as highlight other summer programming and events taking place in Urbandale (and around the metro area). The theme, Summer Rocks in Urbandale! is an expansion of the Library’s summer reading program theme, Libraries Rock!
EVENT DETAILS
Date: Saturday, June 2, 2018 Time: 10:00 a.m. – noon
Location: south lawn of the Urbandale Public Library, 3520 86th St., Urbandale (Due to the rainy forecast, this event will take place INSIDE the Library!)
Celebrate summer at this this free community celebration featuring:
- Special programming from the Grout Museum
- Live music
- Continuous storytime featuring local celebrity readers
- Unveiling of the first-ever “All Urbandale Reads” book
- Sample frozen yogurt from Orange Leaf and snow cones
- Face painting, balloons, magic, and more!
