Safety Precautions & Guidelines

We’ve put some health/safety precautions in place to protect you and our staff. In addition, we’re also asking all visitors to our building to follow a few guidelines to protect yourselves and help make lobby service run smoothly.

As a safety precaution:

  • The library will be closed each weekday between 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm so our staff can clean the public areas. As always, public areas are also cleaned every evening.
  • Returned items are isolated for at least 3 days before they are checked back in.
  • We ask that you please reserve the first hour of lobby service for those patrons who are at a higher risk for COVID-19.
  • Our staff wear masks, and we encourage visitors to wear them as well. We will have disposable masks available for your use, while supplies last.
  • Hand sanitizer stations are available in the lobby.
  • The layout and flow of our lobby service area has been arranged with social distancing guidelines in mind.
  • We are limiting the number of visitors who can access our lobby at a time. Please send only one member of your household into the building.
  • If you feel sick, please stay home.
  • Our curbside pickup service will remain in place as another option for those who may feel uncertain about coming into our building.
