Reserve free passes to local area attractions! Adult Urbandale residents* can book a pass with their library card to enjoy an educational day of family fun at the Blank Park Zoo, the Des Moines Children’s Museum, the Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden, Reiman Gardens, Museum of Danish America, and the Science Center of Iowa.
The Wellmark Family Series is back for 2026 and 2027! Eligible cardholders can reserve up to 8 passes for one performance. Once a patron makes a reservation, they will need to redeem their print/digital confirmation at the Civic Center box office prior to the show. This can happen up to 60 days in advance of the show but must be redeemed no later than 45 minutes before the performance. More details are provided with the pass confirmation
*Please note: Access to this service from the Urbandale Public Library is available to Urbandale residents only. Several metro area libraries are also part of the Iowa Adventure Pass, so please check with your local library to see if this service is available in your community.
