Library Services Update:Click this message for hours and information about current library services offered.

The Urbandale Public Library is accepting public reservations for meeting rooms.

Please note, we have made some amendments to our meeting room policy. Instead of a static 6-month timeframe, we will be offering reservations on a rolling 90-day basis.

Please review the meeting room use policy before making a reservation:

COVID-19 Precautions – Guidelines for Meeting Room Usage:

In this time of uncertainty with the spread of the COVID-19 outbreak, the safety of visitors using our meeting room facilities is very important.

  • We strongly recommend groups using our meeting rooms follow current CDC and public health guidelines for mass gatherings and practice social distancing. We have included “COVID-19 Occupancy Recommendations” in our amended meeting room policy.
  • The Library is unable to clean meeting rooms between reservations. Groups are welcome to bring their own cleaning supplies to use.
  • As of August 24, 2021: As required by CDC Guidelines, library patrons should wear a mask when using the library. (This policy applies to all library patrons 2 years of age and older.) As CDC guidelines change, the director of the library and library board are allowed to change this policy accordingly.
