Tween & Teen Painting: Superhero Silhouette

- Age Requirement: 10-17 only
- Register for the session that works best for you (both are the same painting):
Youth library assistant, Carisa, will help you create an amazing image of your favorite superhero silhouetted against a background of your choosing.
Please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org to let her know what superhero you will want to paint. She will then provide a silhouette that you can trace and paint to create your masterpiece.
Sojourner Truth’s “Ain’t I a Woman”

Judge Romonda D. Belcher will be presenting Sojourner Truth’s “Ain’t I a Woman” speech which was originally given at the Women’s Convention in Akron, Ohio in 1851. Judge Belcher will share other details about this historical figure and her involvement with the suffrage movement.
