Sustainability Fair 2024
Date/Time: Thursday, May 23, drop-in 5:30-7:30 PM
Location: Charles Gabus Memorial Tree Park (The event will be moved into the Library Meeting Rooms in the case of inclement weather.)
The library has partnered with Polk County Public Works to offer a free, family-friendly event featuring 20+ community organizations playing a part in sustainability. Information, resources, and activities will be provided to help you jump-start or continue your sustainable journey!
Robert Deitch, a Country Americana singer and songwriter, will be performing during the Sustainability Fair.
Enjoy free, fresh fruit from Urbandale Hy-Vee and bring your own water bottle to fill up at Des Moines Water Works (pet-friendly) water station!
Participate in our door prize for an opportunity to win a free rain barrel courtesy of Home Solutions of Iowa!
